Preview Salone 2019

It’s an important decision, the one taken by Jannelli&Volpi, matured over the years, to take part for the first time, in a more ‘institutional’ way, in the Fiera, specifically in the Padiglione where the new contract projects in the area S.Project at the Salone del Mobile in Milan are found. 

Jannelli&Volpi steps into the Fiera with a 200mq stand, with a project of setup co-signed by Matteo Ragni and Paola Jannelli (Director of CreativeLab Jannelli&Volpi). 

The large rectangular space is divided into two square blocks, accessible by two sides, which host respectively: JV collections and a new business unit. 

The first space is dedicated to JV - Jannelli&Volpi

The project of setup is designed following the line traced by the already inaugurated ‘JV Project Lounge’, a permanent space in Jannelli&Volpi’s Milan showroom, dedicated to professionals. 

The five modular exhibitors – all dedicated to a brand – which are presented on the back wall offer a general view of the 2019 collections. A series of small samples hanging from the modular bookcase are available as a reminder to the visitors. 

In the centre of the space the long working tables are found, where the projecting takes place. 

The adjacent space is fully dedicated to a new Jannelli&Volpi Unit, which will be revealed at the Salone together with the name, still a ‘top secret’. 

A proper innovation for Jannelli&Volpi, which begins this project with an autonomous path, which presents a single handler and a varied distribution channel. 

The new Unit is completely dedicated to the world of contract and to professionals – in order to satisfy the requests coming from both big construction operations and private citizens, with tailor made projects – proposing a unique range of products with a high decorative potential which stand out thanks to colours, materials, designs and technological innovation. 

It’s all about customised - and non-customised – wallcoverings, which allow for the choice of fixture and are characterized by important technological innovations, which overturn the offer. All the products (including the esteemed natural fibres such as: silk, raffia, linen) can in fact be treated with special finishing making them suitable for spaces of high traffic or humidity. 

For the launch of the new Unit fourteen young designers – who will be announced in March - have been involved, they have been called to develop the aesthetic aspects of the designs, by means of research and development that have always characterized the Business. 

The wallcoverings they will have designed will be highlighted by the materials and will compose the first Collection of the Unit, as a focus in the setup they will ornament the walls of the space as well as being displayed on mega-rolls and banners.
