Marimekko returns with proposals interpreted by new production techniques for the Wallcoverings Marimekko 07 by Jannelli&Volpi collection. Antti Kekki's Laidun (pasture) print captures horses grazing on a summer evening. The pattern was created on the floor of the designer's studio using cut-out pieces of paper-the animals were created piece by piece by combining different shapes. The graphic, mosaic-like vegetation adds a sense of space to the motif, contrasting with the round shapes of the animals.
