Salone del mobile 2019
This year Jannelli&Volpi chose to be present on a more institutional level at theSalone del Mobile di Milano, in the new pavilion S.Project, all dedicated to contract projects. New contacts and proposals were originated during the week, which has seen a great interested on a national and international business level as well as great satisfaction from all collaborators. CO.DE Contemporary Design by Jannelli was located in a separated space, the new independent business division catering to the contract and professional world, proposing a unique set of highly decorative products which are characterized by the materials, the designs and the technological innovation.
Jannelli&Volpi was not limited to the Fiera, it took part also in the events of the Fuorisalone (9/14 April), in the making of setups thanks to its wallcoverings. This year with the Leonardo, JV161 Arashi and JWall collections. XXII Esposizione Internazionale della Triennale di Milano Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival The collaboration between Jannelli&Volpi and the Milan Triennale flourished in order to give life to spectacular setups in contemporary design exhibitions, using wallcoverings designed and created ad hoc, the project is brought to life in the exhibition Broken Nature: Design takes on Human Survival. Among the projects displayed some signed by Giorgia Lupi and Gabriele Rossi from Accurat, on walls over 150 m2 wide, an by Kate Crawford and Vladan Joren.
Corso Venezia 14, Milano
For the occasion of the Salone del Mobile, the flagship store Armani/Casa in Corso Venezia, the largest in the world, is renewed, proposing products and elements of décor and transforming through a delicate setup. The wallpaper collection Armani/Casa Exclusive Wallcoverings Collection is pivotal, it includes the new wallcoverings from the line Graphic Elements 2, created thanks to the renewed collaboration with Jannelli&Volpi. This part of the collection is a journey through some of the most famous Italian islands such as Pantelleria, a place which holds very dear to Giorgio Armani and which often inspired him for his creations. The iconic designs of the Armani style are not forgotten: the fil posé in a moiré design on a grand scale with bright tones, an elegant shagreen texture in unexpected nuances, a damier deconstructed by the harmony of ton sur ton tones.
Smart Home | Via Mike Bongiorno 9, Milano
Samsung in its Smart Home – Samsung District, proposes once again its collaboration with Jannelli&Volpi during Fuorisalone 2019. A selection of wallcoverings enveloped the space and exalted the renewed function of Samsung TV QLED 2109 Ambient Mode, with the collection “Leonardo by Jannelli&Volpi”, the designs depict female figures and sketches of his inventions, in the year celebrating 500 years from his disappearing.
Via Santa Sofia 27, Milano
LOVEThESIGN inaugurated its permanent exhibition in the multi-brand showroom SANTASOFIA27 by the brand Gorlini. The corner was refined thanks to Jannelli&Volpi wallcoverings from the collections JV161 Arashi with a pattern portraying ferns, and the Tropical motive in the JWall line.
Ventura Future - Base Milano, Via Tortona 54 - Via Bergognone 34
A new way to conceive architecture: from an industrial and cultural challenge the sustainable house is born. Scaffsystem, Knauf and Officine Tamborrino presented CASACADABRA at Ventura Future in via Tortona, where mechanics, architecture and design come together to elevate the steel structures in the residential field. The path, created by Angelo Jelmini, is almost 30 meters in length and it’s thought to be walked along to experience the different levels of this new housing method, capable, through design, to interpret the necessities and the identities of people. Jannelli&Volpi took part as a partner with its wallcoverings, making the space even more evocative.
